WiSTEM was started in the spring of 2015 by three Brookline High School juniors after they noticed how boys outnumbered girls in an AP Physics class. Since its origin more than three years ago, the club has grown drastically and is a symbol for empowerment and motivation among the student body. Through speakers from STEM fields, we hope to inspire other girls with the endless possibilities in STEM. We also do outreach with middle school students to prepare them for success in advanced STEM classes.
